About the Artist

Born (1996) and raised around women, his formative years often oscillated between practical societal reality and inquisitive inquiry. Finding his solace in literature muddled with his answers and reality he found himself to be malleable which ligates him from any particular creative binding. Being a student in bio science his trials and errors railed across his inquisitive mind quelled by the academic squalor. Falling out from academic expectation, his detour into oneself and thus the college of Fine Arts, Bangalore(Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad) let him explore his suppressed inquisitiveness.

His endeavors in art always revolve around intuitive reasonings and radical questions based on a particular thesis. Literature and research has always paralleled his body of works. Drawing the viewer into interpreting one's own understandings through the context of his work is a consistent thread. Exploring styles of work, execution and context of project along with traversing across India through artist residencies or backpacking is a process since his graduation. His traversing has enabled him to personalize conversations as a major key to establish  his relationships with himself and the other. Confessing himself as an organic thinker insisting on applying the reality of the very same onto his body of work often an amalgamation of question, observation and rhetoric. Delving into street art exploring murals and relationship between art, populous and space enables him to fund his research and traverse.

Concept note

Human behavior is inherently complex and interspersed with personal, social, political, economical and cultural differences. These facets influence our choices and inherent biases. Apart from what we consider universal behaviours, all humans have what is inherently their individuality. Confounded by trepidation, we refrain from vocalizing and incarcerating ourselves in the light of prudence. Evaluating stigmata and assessing the divergent perceptions of the social structure reinvigorate and catapult society.

Human etiquette is an intricate tapestry woven from a multitude of personal, social, political, and cultural threads. To truly understand it, we must take a holistic approach, examining the many factors that shape our thoughts, feelings, and actions.

The project consists of four sequences, with the first phase focusing on influential world leaders. The following sequence will move closer to the grassroots level and examine how most of our voices are selfish and biased. Probing into the prejudice embedded within our society and critiquing each sequence, "The Paradoxical Egalitarians’’ summons us to introspect and understand our subconscious biases.
