Devanath V V is an emerging multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting.

Devanath works in an array of disciplines, including paintings, drawings, photography, and video. He is now focusing on digital assemblages, which are photographs combined with paintings and

drawings. This technique enables him to combine the real environment with his artistic vision, resulting in works that are both visually stimulating and emotionally resonant. His artistic research is founded in themes of ordinary landscapes and the fishermen's community of northern Malabar, Kerala, where he comes from. He uses his paintings to emphasise these people's lives and their distinct ways of life. In his paintings, drawings, and photographs, he depicts their hard labour, hardships, and joys, producing an intriguing depiction of their everyday lives. He has participated in several group shows in India and has also worked as an assistant art

director in the South's film industry and as a designer for MG University's NAAC programme.
