In life chaos and tranquility are seen in harmony. This sketch is a beautiful balance of the same. We see a medley of transparent and opaque, fluid and hard, fresh and worn out in this sketch in a palette of different tones.

This is a picture of used vessels in my kitchen. I drew this using only a graphite pencil and It took me 2 days to create this drawing. While drawing this i realised the effort taken to draw this should be way less than those who clean the vessels day in and day out.
As we are affected by the pandemic COVID-19, we have switched over to e-learning from home. It has been time and again told to us to build up our immunity, stay healthy, stay home, and stay calm. I have chosen skipping rope as one of my still life image, as I have started skipping to boost my strength. Along with regular yoga, I have been challenging myself each day by increasing the skip counts. It has helped me to build up my muscular strength and flexibility. The next object that I have selected is the baking tray. Though we are in a situation where we cannot go out, it is exciting and fun to learn new skills at home. Recently I have found my interest in baking and have baked cookies, cakes, buns, and cupcakes with my mother. My next object are the paint bottles and a paint brush. This pandemic has given me an opportunity to also improve my skills such as painting, drawing, and colouring. I have learnt warli art, coffee painting, drawings on festivals, sceneries with geometrical designs etc. Practising these fun activities has helped me in relaxing my mind and have a positive attitude towards life.
The camera in my drawing is like the human eye. The lens of the camera is kept pointing towards the plants, nature's beauty. It is showing that we must capture nature as a beautiful thing and not destroy it. The beautiful sight that nature provides us should be captured through our lens. I used pencil shading for giving the texture to my drawing (HB pencil and 3H pencil). The main techinque that I have used is 'hatching' which made by using strokes and contour lines. It also uses many more techniques used for pencil shading.
